Frozen sweet corn kernels production process flow
The production process of frozen corn kernels includes the following steps:
Corn picking: Choose suitable varieties, such as Green Superman, Xiangyu Super Sweet No.1, etc.
Remove bracts and cool: Cool immediately after harvesting with bracts.
Grading: According to the diameter of corn, it is usually divided into 2-3 grades.
Remove filaments, trim, and clean: Remove filaments, trim corn kernels, and clean with running water.
Threshing: Use a specialized thresher to thresh.
Blanching: Blanch with boiling water or steam at a temperature of 95 ℃ to 100 ℃ for about 5 minutes.
Cooling: Immediately cool down after blanching.
Selection: Remove overripe, undercooked, and broken corn kernels.
Quick freezing: Use a fluidized bed quick freezing device with a temperature of -30 to -40 ℃ and a freezing time of 3-5 minutes.
Packaging and refrigeration: Packaged at -5 ℃ and stored at temperatures ranging from -18 to -20 ℃.
