Technical Parameters
IQF Frozen Diced Apricot Supplier
We supply pitted IQF frozen diced apricots for importers, yogurt and ice-cream factories, bakery manufacturers, fruit-preparation producers, foodservice distributors and private-label programs. Our standard commercial product is unpeeled Grade A apricot dice from Shandong, China.
The primary cut is 10×10×10 mm. We can also review 6 mm, 12 mm and 15 mm cuts, peeled product, processing grade and color-protected options according to the required application and production plan.
Send your target cut, accepted size range, Brix, peel condition, packing, quantity, destination and test list. We will confirm the current crop, production capability, sample, COA scope and reefer loading plan before quotation.

What We Supply as IQF Frozen Diced Apricot
We separate diced apricot from apricot halves, slices, puree and dried diced apricot. Each form uses a separate product code and commercial specification so the cut, peel condition, defect allowance and packing cannot be confused at order stage.
Unpeeled, pitted, Grade A and individually quick frozen for general industrial use.
6 mm, 12 mm and 15 mm subject to production capability and order quantity.
For smooth fruit preparations, baby-food programs and applications with low peel tolerance.
Natural irregular pieces for jam, puree, sauce and filling where visual uniformity is less critical.
Product form should be confirmed by actual cut, peel condition and current-lot sample rather than by a generic apricot name.

Buyer Risks and GreenLand-food Controls
Apricot dice orders can fail when the named cut does not match the actual size distribution, fruit is too soft after thawing, peel or pit fragments exceed tolerance, browning treatment is not declared, or the selected grade does not match the final application. We convert those risks into measurable order points.

Specification note: Apricot is a natural agricultural product. Brix, pH, acidity, color and texture vary by variety, maturity, weather and production lot. We confirm binding requirements through the approved sample, final specification and sales contract.
Dice Size and Cutting Uniformity
The declared cut is the target setting, not an exact dimension for every fruit piece. Natural fruit curvature, cavity shape and cutting direction create limited variation. We therefore confirm a dimensional range, uniform-piece percentage, fines allowance and broken-piece limit together.
10×10×10 mm.
Approximately 8-12 mm.
Minimum 90% target.
Maximum 3% target.
These cutting tolerances are proposed order values and require plant confirmation before they become contractual limits.
Current-lot photos and samples help confirm dice distribution, broken pieces, peel condition and color.
Brix, pH and Acidity Control
We evaluate Brix together with pH, titratable acidity, aroma, color and maturity. A premium minimum of 12°Bx is confirmed against the current crop and production lot rather than assumed from the product name.
Brix ≥9°Bx.
Brix ≥10°Bx.
Brix ≥12°Bx.
3.30-4.20.
0.50-1.80 g/100 g as citric acid.
For a contract COA, we test representative thawed pieces, press and filter the juice, measure Brix near 20°C with a calibrated refractometer, use a calibrated pH meter and report titratable acidity by the agreed method.
Choose the Right Frozen Apricot Dice Grade
| Grade | Concrete Reference | Recommended Application |
|---|---|---|
| Premium 12 mm | 12 mm; Brix ≥12°Bx; brown/discolored ≤3% | Fruit cups, desserts and visible foodservice toppings |
| Standard 10 mm | 10 mm; Brix ≥10°Bx; uniform pieces ≥90% | Yogurt, ice cream, bakery and foodservice |
| Small 6 mm | 6 mm; standard or peeled option | Fine fruit preparation and smooth fillings |
| Large 15 mm | 15 mm; visual grade by sample | Desserts and large-piece fruit fillings |
| Processing Grade | Natural irregular dice; Brix ≥9°Bx | Jam, puree, sauce and industrial filling |
| Certified Organic | Physical grade plus valid organic scope and transaction documents | Certified-organic manufacturing and retail |
Processing grade changes visual appearance, size distribution and breakage tolerance. It does not reduce microbiological, residue, traceability or foreign-material requirements.
Browning Control and Ingredient Declaration
100% apricot with no added sugar, preservative, color or acidulant. Natural color variation and limited oxidation can occur during storage and thawing.
Citric acid and ascorbic acid treatment can be reviewed for improved color stability. The exact treatment must be validated by the plant and declared in the specification, ingredient list and destination-market label.
Raw-material maturity and defect selection support the color, Brix and texture target before cutting and freezing.
Pit Fragment and Foreign-Material Control
Apricot is a stone fruit, so pit fragments require a separate control plan. Metal detection controls ferrous, non-ferrous and stainless-steel risk within the validated sensitivity; it must not be presented as a pit-fragment detector. X-ray capability is used only where the selected factory, product and pack format have been validated.
Absent.
Proposed maximum 1 piece/10 kg.
Proposed maximum 1 piece/10 kg each.
Glass, metal, plastic and non-food stones absent.
Control flow: pitting → visual inspection → cutting → screening → manual sorting → validated metal detection/X-ray → finished-product sampling.
Inspection equipment supports foreign-material control when validated for the selected factory, product and pack format.
Microbiological and Intended-Use Control
The standard product is an ingredient for food manufacturing, foodservice preparation or further processing. Ready-to-eat status requires a separately validated microbiological program, intended-use review and destination-market confirmation.
| Reference Test | Reference Contract Limit |
|---|---|
| Total Plate Count | ≤100,000 CFU/g |
| Coliforms | ≤100 CFU/g |
| E. coli | ≤10 CFU/g |
| Yeast / Mould | ≤1,000 CFU/g each |
| Salmonella | Absent in 25 g |
| Listeria monocytogenes | Absent in 25 g |
These are reference quotation limits, not a universal legal standard. We align the final test list and limits with the destination market, intended use, supplying facility and signed customer specification.
Residue, Heavy-Metal and Contaminant Control
Pesticide MRLs and contaminant limits differ by destination market and can change. We do not publish one old global limit as if it applied to every shipment. We confirm the target country, relevant commodity category, approved customer list and laboratory scope before testing.
Comply with destination-market MRLs and the signed specification.
Test items and limits confirmed by destination and customer program.
Accredited laboratory report arranged when included in the order.
Shandong Apricot Origin and Processing Season
We source the standard raw material from Shandong, China. Jintaiyang, also known commercially as Golden Sun, can be used as the principal processing variety when available and approved for the order.
The main harvest is June-July, while IQF production can extend into August according to variety and raw-material availability. We prepare frozen inventory during the crop window for year-round shipment, subject to stock and grade.
Variety, maturity and crop conditions influence color, Brix, acidity and post-thaw texture.
