Piece Weight and Format Routes
Commercial hash brown patties are sold in several portion sizes. We use the ranges below as clear RFQ routes rather than claiming every weight has the same dimensions. Final length, width and thickness are recorded on the approved product specification and matched to the selected forming tool.
52 g Compact Portion

From Potato Intake to Frozen Patty
- Raw potato intake: We check variety suitability, soundness, sprouting, green areas, decay, deep defects and foreign matter. Dry matter and reducing-sugar behavior can be added to the raw-material program for projects with a tight texture or frying-color target.
- Washing, peeling and trimming: Soil and loose material are removed, then eyes, green tissue, rot and dark defects are trimmed before size reduction.
